Finally the day arrived I launched my book at the Royal Thames Yacht Club in London. It was probably not the most conventional launch - a sister sang the America’s Cup 1851 version of Yankee Doodle, and we ran out of hardbacks straight away - but I loved every minute of it (and the after-party at the house of some dear friends): see my happy face!
