On our way back from Barbuda, we enjoyed the welcoming home of the Antigua Yachtclub. I spoke about the history of the America's Cup over a glass and nibbles and made some new friends while watching the last boat arrive in the RORC Caribbean 600.
Well done to Andrew Eddy and his crew on Gaia and the rest of the fleet; if anybody thought this was a Caribbean cruise, think again, from the 84 starters there were 41 finishers. Solid winds and tempestuous gusts led to a challenging race.
